Promoting Biodiversity Conservation Through Grassroot Interventions Using Locally Available Resources
The Organization for Safer Globe Conservation Trust (SGCT) actively promotes Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7), which advocates for access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all. Our approach includes identifying vulnerable households and providing them with access to renewable energy technologies, such as solar power, for lighting and powering communication devices. These efforts not only help conserve the environment and reduce resource depletion but also support the global shift toward a sustainable energy transition.
We empower youth by offering training in the installation, maintenance, and application of renewable energy technologies. Additionally, we engage young people in promoting and marketing solar products in local community spaces such as weekly markets, churches, and
renewable energy shops. Our outreach spans across Hoima, Masindi, Kikuube, Kiryandongo, and Kagadi districts in Uganda.
Join us in lighting up lives and protecting our planet partner with Safer Globe Conservation Trust to bring clean, sustainable energy to vulnerable communities while empowering youth to lead Uganda’s green energy future.
